The wildlife conservation area is one of the "wildest" national park areas in Southern Africa and regarded as one of the best places to view wildlife with big populations of hippopotamuses, crocodiles, elephants and buffalo.

Get in

Mana Pools are near the northernmost point of Zimbabwe, close to the Zambian border, and they are about 15 km (9.3 mi) north of the Harare-Lusaka highway. The closest towns are Chirundu on the Zambian side and Kariba.
