Sabugal is a city and municipality in Portugal's Beira Alta province. The city lies on the banks of the River Côa.

Sabugal can be reached via the N233 road, which can be accessed from the A23 (Autoestrada da Beira Interior) or A25 (Autoestrada das Beiras Litoral e Alta) motorways at Guarda.
