Wisła
Wisła is a winter sport resort city in the Silesian Beskids in the Silesian Voivodeship, in Poland. It is situated south-west of Kraków, in the vicinity of Bielsko-Biała and Cieszyn. The Wisła river, the biggest river in Poland, has its source close to this town.

By train
From Katowice by local trains you can get to Wisła in 2h30 for 15 zł per person. There are a few connections daily. There is no direct train connection to Wisła from either Bielsko-Biała and Cieszyn. There are several train stops in Wisła and depending on your destination, you can use the one that fits your choice best.
By bus
- From Bielsko-Biała: 45-60 minutes, ticket cost approximately 8 zł per person
- From Cieszyn: 40-55 minutes by bus

- 🌍 Presidential Castle, Zameczek 1, ☏ +48 33 854 65 00. This modernistic castle was built between 1929 and 1931 in the interwar period in Poland, a few years after the independence of Poland in 1918. Between 1981 and 2002 it was a holiday complex for families of mine-workers from Jastrzębie-Zdrój. Since 2002 it is again of the official residencies of the president of Poland. It is also possible to stay in one of the rooms in the complex.

Events
- The Festival of Snow, sponsored by local brewery Zywiec, is held each year in February, only in 2007 due to the mild winter the snow sculptures were made from snow taken from the nearby hills! There is also a market featuring traditional local produce and music concerts.
